The Fund Manager of Financial Instruments in Bulgaria EAD (FoF) and the National Statistical Institute (NSI) have signed an agreement for cooperation and strategic partnership for inter-institutional exchange of information.

The document regulates the joint work between the two parties, including the exchange of information, which covers not only the possibility of providing data from NSI’s statistical surveys and the information arrays of the Fund of Funds (FoF), but also the commissioning of additional studies if necessary. Both institutions are obliged to use the received information only for statistical and/or analytical purposes in accordance with the requirements of the Statistics Act and applicable European legislation.

In particular, the cooperation will allow the Fund of Funds to structure data-based and sector-specific financial instruments, to prepare targeted analyses of the market situation, and to measure the results and effects achieved from the implementation of assigned mandates. The signed agreement is a logical continuation of the successful partnership in 2024 between NSI and FoF in relation to the analysis of the results and effects achieved from the implementation of financial instruments during the 2014-2020 programming period.

Both parties expressed satisfaction with the signed document, stating their mutual readiness for close and fruitful partnership, as well as support for joint initiatives. The leaders of the institutions clarified that as a first step following the signing of the agreement, the exchange of data, experience, and expertise is planned, based on which the subsequent actions will be outlined in the most effective way.
