The Bulgarian Investment Agency (BIA) and the Ministry of Innovation and Growth (MIG) held a forum on the topic of "Attracting Investment and Funding - Opportunities for Municipalities". The event took place at Sofia Tech Park and presented information on attracting investors in the country and funding opportunities for projects aimed at regional development. Successful practices of cooperation with municipalities and industrial zones were shared, as well as working approaches to promote innovation and investment in all sectors of the economy.

Minister of Innovation and Growth Milena Stoycheva welcomed the participants. The forum was also attended by Mila Nenova, Executive Director of BIA, who presented the incentives that the state provides to support business, and Dochka Vassileva, Director of Project Information and Financing at the Fund of Funds, who talked about our instruments in support of urban development projects and those available to companies and potential investors. 

Guest speakers were also Plamen Panchev, Executive Director of the Trakia Economic Zone; Ivan Tserovski, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Development Bank; Radoslav Rizov, General Director at the European Funds for Competitiveness General Directorate at the Ministry of Regional Development.
